Delete your NyayDesk account

You can delete your NyayDesk account and its data at any time, from the app or the website. NyayDesk is provided by Mauli Infotech (OPC) Pvt. Ltd..

1. In the mobile app (Android or iPhone)

  1. Open NyayDesk and tap More.
  2. Tap Delete account at the bottom of the list.
  3. Tap Send code. Enter the 6-digit code we send to your registered mobile number.
  4. Type DELETE and tap Delete permanently.

2. On the website

  1. Log in with your mobile number.
  2. Go to Settings and scroll to Delete account.
  3. Click Delete my account, enter the code sent to your mobile, type DELETE and confirm.

3. If you can’t log in

Email support@mauli-infotech.co.in from the email on your profile, or write with your registered mobile number. We will verify that the number is yours and delete the account within 7 working days.

4. What is deleted

Deletion is immediate and permanent. It cannot be undone.

  • If you are the firm owner (the person who signed up): the whole firm is deleted. That includes your profile, every team member’s login, all cases, hearings, court orders and AI summaries, tasks, reminders, clients and client portal links, fee agreements, payments, expenses, invoices you issued to clients, uploaded documents and files, notification settings, registered devices and login sessions. Any active subscription is cancelled and will not be charged again.
  • If you are a team member (advocate, clerk or accountant added by an owner): only your own login, profile, devices and sessions are deleted. Tasks and cases assigned to you become unassigned. The firm’s cases, clients and documents belong to the firm owner and stay with the firm.

5. What we keep, and for how long

Indian GST and income-tax law (section 36 of the CGST Act read with Rule 56, and the Income-tax Act) requires us to keep the tax invoices we issued for about 8 years. So for the GST invoices NyayDesk issued to a firm for its subscription, we keep only the invoice number, plan, amount, GST, invoice date, and the firm name and GSTIN printed on it. They are no longer linked to any user, phone number, case or client, and are deleted when the retention period ends.

Encrypted backups are overwritten within 30 days. Payment records held by Razorpay are governed by Razorpay’s own policies.
