Terms of service
Last updated 20 October 2026
These terms govern your use of NyayDesk, a software service provided by Mauli Infotech (OPC) Pvt. Ltd. (“we”). By creating an account you agree to them on behalf of yourself and your firm.
1. The service
NyayDesk is practice-management software for advocates: case tracking, diary, tasks, client communication, fees, invoices and documents. It is a tool to assist your practice; it does not provide legal advice.
2. Court data
Case status, dates and orders are obtained from public court records through licensed data partners. Courts may update late, publish errors or be unavailable. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness or timeliness of this data. You remain responsible for verifying dates and orders with the court record. NyayDesk is not affiliated with, or endorsed by, any court, eCourts or any government body.
3. AI features
AI-generated order summaries and voice reminders may contain errors. Always read the original order before acting on it.
4. Your account
- You must be an advocate enrolled with a State Bar Council, or staff acting for one.
- You are responsible for the people you add to your firm and the access you give them.
- You must have your clients’ consent to store their details and send them messages.
- Advertising or soliciting work through the service in breach of the Bar Council of India Rules is not permitted.
5. Plans and payment
Paid plans are billed monthly in advance through Razorpay. Prices exclude 18% GST. If a payment fails or a plan lapses, your account moves to Free plan limits; existing data stays readable but you cannot add cases beyond the free limit. See the Refund & cancellation policy.
6. Acceptable use
Do not misuse the service, attempt to access other firms’ data, upload unlawful content, or resell the service without our written permission.
7. Your data
You own the data you enter. You can export it at any time. Our handling of personal data is described in the Privacy policy.
8. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid us in the three months before the claim. We are not liable for missed hearings, limitation periods or other losses arising from reliance on court data, AI output or notifications.
9. Termination
You may stop using the service at any time. We may suspend accounts that breach these terms, with notice where practicable.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts at Navi Mumbai / Mumbai, Maharashtra have exclusive jurisdiction.
